The entertainment industry is in a big slump… Disney is cutting back employees, giving discounts at Walt Disney World, movie studios are going bankrupt, where is the stimulus for hollywood… where is the entertainment industry bailout ? Sound silly ? It isnt… if the car companies are too big to fail, if the banks are too big to fail, why not entertainment ? Why is it so outlandish to think that tv and movies studios deserve some free money to keep all these actors employed… why would we be willing to make sure financial employees keep their jobs… auto workers, etc… so, how many blogs have you read lately on this bailout ? Do you often read entertainment industry blogs and web logs ? If you could choose between a blog and a newspaper, which news source would you be more inclined to read ?
